Our Story

Holistic Solutions is an emerging behavioral health agency dedicated to advancing the mental health and wellbeing of young children and their families through trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive services.

We are guided by a set of integrated, trauma-informed, and developmentally grounded principles that shape our clinical services and community engagement. These practice-based principles ensure our interventions are both evidence-informed and deeply attuned to the needs of the populations we serve:

  1. Relationship-Centered Care
We recognize the central role of early attachment and relational safety in healing and development. Every service we offer is rooted in the power of secure, responsive relationships.

  2. Two-Generation and Whole-Family Approach
Our interventions engage not only the individual but the broader family system—addressing intergenerational patterns, caregiver capacity, and the child’s social-emotional ecosystem.

  3. Trauma-Informed and Resilience-Focused
We operate with an understanding of how early adversity, toxic stress, and trauma affect brain development and behavior, while also recognizing and building on each family's inherent strengths and capacity for resilience.

  4. Cultural Humility and Responsiveness
We strive to deliver services that are attuned to the cultural, racial, socioeconomic, and spiritual identities of the families we serve, and we commit to ongoing learning and self-reflection.

  5. Developmentally Appropriate, Evidence-Informed Practice
We utilize tools such functional assessments to tailor services to the child’s developmental stage, integrating evidence-based models such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Mothers and Babies, and Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).

  6. Reflective Supervision and Workforce Wellness
We prioritize reflective practice among our staff to support emotional regulation, prevent burnout, and promote high-quality care rooted in empathy and attunement.

  7. Community Collaboration and System Integration
We actively engage in partnerships with pediatricians, early education providers, WIC offices, child welfare, and faith-based organizations to build a seamless, responsive system of care.

  8. Equity, Access, and Advocacy
We recognize systemic barriers to care and are committed to advocating for policies and funding structures that ensure equitable access to high-quality,  mental health services for all families.
